Research overview
In recent years, efforts to discover useful knowledge from the large amount of data accumulated in the course of daily work have been widely implemented in the medical field. By utilizing these big data, it is possible to detect anomalies and predict the near future, providing services that meet the needs of individual users, improving the efficiency of business operations, and creating new industries. The Department of Public Health of Kurume University is working on research using medical big data such as statement of medical expenses (receipts).
